The “New Star” prize awarded by the organizers of the Car Awards recognizes models that have made an impressive mark on the Vietnamese automobile industry, possess advanced technologies and are highly appreciated by customers.

Honored as a “new star” in one of the prestigious automotive voting and honor programs in Vietnam, VinFast VF 8 has clearly demonstrated the quality, technological content and value of the umbrella model. Vietnam’s first electric car to be exported to the world market.

VinFast VF 8 impresses experts and customers with its luxurious, high-end, dynamic and powerful design, and the interior space has a minimalist and spacious design, bringing comfort to the entire driver and passengers of the vehicle.

A representative of the Vietnamese automobile company said that on November 25, 2022, 999 VinFast VF 8 cars boarded the train to leave for the United States, marking a historic moment for the Vietnamese automobile industry. After exactly 26 days, 999 VF 8 cars arrived at the Port of Benicia, California on December 21, 2022.

VinFast has also received EPA COC certifications to import and operate vehicles in the United States; CARB EO to deliver vehicles to customers in California and CARB states (including 14 other states and Washington DC). VF 8 has also passed FMVSS testing in accordance with NHTSA regulations. To master the global production platform, Vietnamese-branded cars are expected to be manufactured directly in the United States from 2024.

Sharing VinFast’s journey on the road to conquering the international market, Mr. Hoang Chi Trung – as a speaker at the Car Awards 2022 – introduced VinFast’s strategy, objectives and plans when marketing Vietnamese products in the world.

He pointed out that since the creation of VinFast, the leaders of Vingroup have determined a strategy to compete with the world’s leading brands of electric vehicles. VinFast aims to sell one million electric vehicles worldwide in the next 5-6 years.

“So far, the goal of bringing Vietnam’s aspiration to conquer the international market is gradually being realized.
